Two factor authentication is an additional layer of security to protect your Instagram account.
You have probably used two factor authentication before. Have you ever had to receive a text to login somewhere? Thats 2FA at work.
Unfortunately this security measure can be intrusive, and prevents us from delivering some marketing products including our social media management service. For this reason, we ask that all Team Micro clients first change their password (and take a note of it!), then switch Two Factor Authentication off.
It’s dead simple. Here’s how you do it.
Tap the icon in the bottom right corner of your Instagram app.
Then, tap the three horizontal lines icon in the upper right corner.
Go to Settings
Tap Security
Tap Two-Factor Authentication
Toggle text messages OFF
And that’s it!
You did remember to change your password, right? If not, go back and do it now for peace of mind.
